Data Handling

ImpulseVault stores Vault entries, settings, and estimated savings locally in your browser profile. It does not sell, share, or transmit your shopping behavior to the developer or third-party services.

Data Stored Locally

  • Vault item or cart title.
  • Merchant domain and source URL.
  • Estimated price and currency.
  • Optional image URL.
  • Created, updated, and unlock timestamps.
  • Vault status and savings metadata.
  • Settings, disabled domains, and notification preferences.

Data Not Stored

ImpulseVault is not designed to store payment credentials, credit card numbers, passwords, shipping addresses, billing addresses, or full checkout form contents.

Network Use

The extension does not call external APIs, use analytics, load remote scripts, or transmit Vault data to a backend.

Permissions

The extension uses storage, alarms, activeTab, optional notifications, and host access limited to supported retailer domains. It does not request <all_urls>.

Limited Use

Use of information received from Chrome extension APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
