Help with PageBrine

PageBrine is a local-first extension. Most issues can be checked from the extension settings, archive folder, and browser permissions.

Before reporting an issue

Confirm the archive folder is connected, retry on a normal webpage, and check whether the page is browser-restricted.

Contact

Use the Chrome Web Store support link to report reproducible issues. Include the Chrome version, operating system, PageBrine version, the page type, and the exact action that failed.

Restricted pages

Chrome blocks extensions from capturing browser-internal pages such as chrome:// pages, Chrome Web Store pages, and some extension pages. Try a normal article, documentation page, or public website when testing captures.

Archive folder

If saving or export fails, open settings, reconnect the archive folder, then rebuild the local index. PageBrine stores captures in the folder selected by the user.

Privacy

PageBrine does not use accounts, analytics, remote indexing, cloud storage, or external APIs. See the privacy policy for full data handling details.
