Accessibility

Data Handling

SynaptiShade applies comfort settings locally when the user enables the overlay. The content script may inspect page structure and text length locally to apply typography, guides, and focus effects. This happens in the browser tab.

Data Stored Locally

The extension may store reading comfort settings, user-created profiles and URL patterns/domains, onboarding status, and optional local analytics such as overlay events, preset events, focus events, timestamps, and current page host in Chrome local storage.

Network Use

SynaptiShade does not call external APIs for settings storage, analytics, advertising, or telemetry.

Limited Use Statement

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
